The City of Joplin and the Environmental Protection Agency have been collaborating on incorporating new and innovative design concepts along the 20th Street Corridor, all part of a Complete-Green Street Initiative. New features will include traffic calming measures, planting buffers, alternative storm water management techniques, and walking and bicycling trails, among other concepts, all intended to create a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly area.
